A word from my clients

The 5-week Positive Psychology course I have undertaken recently was easily the best thing I have done for myself in a very long time. It felt like Siobhan has a special gift for this type of teaching - her charisma and enthusiasm were palpable for this way of thinking that she truly believes in. She was compassionate and kind beyond words, but frank and honest when necessary!

I have learned to see the beauty in little things and that in turn has brought me joy I couldn't have imagined feeling daily from such mundane things! The course moved my perspective from just seeing problems to looking at the overall picture to see the potential solutions and even opportunities in hardships!

I am really surprised at the positive impact of the little changes we are all capable of making - this course equips the learner with tools that are at the disposal of every one of us. I couldn't recommend this course enough, irrespective of where you are at in life, and I can't wait to start the next course with Sona!

Sona facilitated a workshop at our annual team meeting which for the first time was a virtual event. Siobhan was extremely professional and has such a wonderful style.  She managed to keep our team of over 16 members engaged throughout the entire session.

The feedback from the team was amazing.  Siobhan used tools such as appreciative enquiry with helped us to rediscover and tap into our core strengths and highest potentials.

We would really love to have Siobhan involved in our next annual team sync session.

I opted to do the Introduction to Positive Psychology on a one-to-one basis. It's probably the best thing I've ever done for myself. The course itself is brilliant, from the first or second week I was already feeling better in myself and because I did it one-to-one, I was able to share personal stories with Siobhan, something I wouldn't have done in a group setting.

Because of this the course really benefitted me much better and I got so much out of it. Siobhan's open and non-judgemental demeanour made the one-to-one teaching very comfortable. The course is so interesting, from the science behind positive psychology to how to increase happiness and Siobhan is so engaging and passionate which makes it easy to learn from her.

My happiness has increased and my attitude towards others has changed as well. I also completed the Journaling workshop and I found it beneficial. I had been journaling on and off for a few years and thought I knew the benefits of it, but I had no idea! There's so much more to it than I realised, and it was interesting to learn about the different types of journaling, as well as benefits and even how to go about starting. I'll definitely be back to Sona to complete another course, the Inner Critic one is top of my list!

Siobhan visited our school during wellbeing week. Her introduction to Positive Psychology workshop was simply excellent. Our 5th years thoroughly enjoyed the talk and gained a lot of insight.

Siobhan invites the students to reflect on many aspects of positive psychology such as increasing gratitude in their lives; the importance of self compassion. Sher also introduced the students to the concept of flourishing - the ability to thrive while handling life’s difficulties while also growing and cherishing the good times.

The workshop was both engaging and thought provoking and Siobhan has such a lovely way about her. I cannot recommend this workshop enough.

After attending Sona Positive Psychology with Siobhan, I feel a rebirth has occurred.

After spending many years putting my family always first, I’ve found a new love. Minding my own self-care! Siobhan has guided me in so many ways.

I now feel I have the courage to pursuit my dreams and have the tools to guide me on my journey.  Thank you

I am so thankful for the opportunity for self-growth, the chance to be reminded and learn how to look forward with an open positive mind, to be realistic, that I am human, I have my flaws and thats ok, I am so much more than my mistakes, my weaknesses, I have a purpose and obligation to myself and my loved ones to live my best life, to work towards my strengths.

Every section was valuable and so relatable. As the weeks went by, I found myself connecting to each section we covered. “What i focus on grows” ...so i choose to now focus on the good things in my life .... focus on the gain not the gap. I am perfectly imperfect. All so valuable. I really do feel I have changed from the information in the course. I feel a connection. a huge awareness.

I have compassion for myself and i am excited about what is next. I enjoyed every section ...I think it would be helpful to maybe have a 6–7-week course. There is so much valuable content, it takes time to process it all, especially if someone has been away from learning for a while.

Siobhan spoke to a group of twenty school leaders across our international network. Her presentation focused on finding and using positive ways to reset and refocus over the summer holidays.

As a challenging school year came to an end, head teachers found Siobhan's suggestions both practical and heart-warming. Siobhan took on board the specific needs of the group to ensure her focus was relevant. Self-care, teamwork, and gratitude were her stand out messages. The group was delighted to engage with SONA and its happy themes.

I am enjoying my learning journey with Sona Real Life Positivity more than I could have imagined! Six months ago, I would have scoffed at the idea of Positive Psychology making a real difference to people's lives. But when my heart was low, I gave the Sona Introduction to Positive Psychology a try and was blown away by what I learned! Not the "fad" I expected it to be, it's teachings are science-based and scientifically proven!

It literally flipped my mindset and made a massive impact on my everyday thoughts almost immediately.
Siobhan is a fantastic teacher, who is honest and real, and who journeys with her students from her own broad range of life and work experiences.

From starting this learning curve as an absolute sceptic, I can genuinely say if you step onto this path through Sona, you will never look back. Taking part in the Best Self One-to-One class has given me such a sense of optimism, hope and anticipation, that I am eagerly preparing my personal Mission Statement which will see me flourish even more!

As you may sense, I simply can't recommend Sona's courses highly enough!
